I feel the urge to write once again. I feel the urge to write what I want to say, my feelings, me stories, my encounters. More to come.

“I have never seen all the races in Malaysia so united for one cause before.” – Datuk A. Samad Said (National Laurette)
In loving memory
It was a devastating news to our family. We had lost a daughter, a mother, a sister and an aunt to cancer. My 2nd aunt from my maternal family left behind two sons, two daughters-in-law and two grandsons. Her name was Lam Thai Moy.
A usually jovial her had succumbed to the wretch of cancer. It was already Stage IV when she knew of the disease. Yet she fought on like a warrior with high spirit. Her spirit was broken at 4:50pm today (27 June 2011) when internal bleeding occurred then the lung infection further complicated her conditions.
She was on drip, blood transfusion and oxygen mask during her fight with cancer. I did not get to see her for the last time. The last time I saw her was last Sunday, she was still able to sit upright and talk to us. Who would have knew that it would be a 360 degree turn in just a week. Had planned to see her tonight after finishing work with the other relatives but she left us without saying goodbye. Only her eldest son was beside her death bed.
Today is a sad day for all of us as we mourn for her. Her casket will be flown back to Kuching tomorrow morning where she will be laid in peace beside her late husband on Wednesday.
I’ll be flying back to Kuching to pay my last respect.
You’ll be greatly missed by your sisters and brothers, sons and daughters-in-law, nieces and nephews and your grandsons.
May you rest in peace, and let perpetual light shine upon you.
Kuala Terengganu Short Trip
My friends have been bugging me to update this blog of mine, they say it doesn’t need to consist of lengthy words. So I guess to be fair for you and for me, I’ll make do with a few photos (which I beautifully cramped them into two wide vertical sets) to let you visualise what I saw lately.
My work takes me places all across Malaysia, this is a happy fact I must admit. Recently I was told to go to Terengganu, I gladly did. This trip itself completes me. It completes me in the sense that I am a true Malaysian who has set foot to all the states, from North to South and East to West. Surprisingly I found this “lazy” east coast state to be charming.
I am a man of sandy beaches and lush green jungles, to be able to stroll at the beach or just walk inside the jungle somehow makes my mind serene. The laid back lifes of the people there add a sense of peacefullness one cannot find in thw concrete jungle of Kuala Lumpur.
Here’s a showcase of Pasar Payang which is situated at the waterfront of Kuala Terengganu. I got myself a hand-drawn batik of my favourite colour.
I must tell you that the water is crystal blue here, almost as beautiful as Bali. The food here is definitely awesome if you know how to find them, you must try the ikan bakar at Kampung Raja, the best ever!
Fair enough, a few photos and some words to conclude this short update. I am fine, thank you for your kind concern.
