Year Five

Another year has passed and the new year is here. Like blooming flowers and humming birds of spring time, I hope that this year will be auspicious and smooth sailing.

Not knowingly I have been working for four years now. Much learned and more to learn. Things I’ve learned in the workplace:

  • I am responsible for charting my future, be bold to seek what I want, no one is going to know what I want if I do not speak out for myself.
  • Do not pull the plank away after using it as a bridge. I am grateful for the help others gave me, maintaining harmony and relationship with others is important as I may never know when we will cross path again.
  • Never be afraid to try new or challenging tasks. I may be young and inexperience, I may fail while carrying out the tasks but these are part of the learning process I have to go through to be a better engineer.
